Organization

The inspector of the army (InspH) is the highest troop-official superior of the Teilstreitkaft army of the German Federal Armed Forces.

It is responsible for their personnel and material readiness of application, in this function is directly subordinated it to the Federal Minister of the defense. The operations staff of the army in the Federal Ministry of the defense as well as the army guidance command with the subordinated divisions are subordinate to the inspector (and and the office for army (hectar) with the subordinated training and support mechanisms.

The inspector and its representative dress the rank of a lieutenant general.
