Integrated municipality mayor is according to Gemeindeordnung of Lower Saxony (NGO) the official name of the mayors in integrated municipalities of Lower Saxony. Contrary to the member municipalities of the respective integrated municipalities he is selected directly by the citizens and is full-time active. Its term of office amounts to eight years.
