Internationally Business information Technology (IBIT) is a course of studies at the vocational academy Mannheim.Er relies on international training in the range of the economical informatics and operational information systems. The development, the employment, the evaluation or advancement of such systems are emphasis in this course of studies.

In the study an interdisciplinary spectrum of subjects from the ranges economic science, computer science and intercultural management is obtained. These meetings take place to a large part in English language. Several months stay abroad in practice and in the study are to increase the speaking and culture authority of the students. These contents are supplemented among other things by business planning games, introduction to work engineerings, international seminars and buzzer Schools at foreign partner universities (e.g. Cambridge or Bristol).

A further important emphasis of the course of studies are economical study contents. They are a fundamental condition for handling operational information systems in practice. In addition learning intercultural knowledge, behavior and management comes into IBIT.

The course of studies IBIT is closely related to the course of studies IBA (international Business administration). With this specialist area it accomplishes internationally the seminar since the year 2000. Subjects are compiled and presented to selected region in virtual teams.

At vocational academies in Baden-Wuerttemberg one can attain the title "“diploma restaurant economics (BA), field internationally Business information Technology"”.
