The investor (also capital investor or investor called) puts money at the capital market on (it invests). Investors are divided into different groups, since they arise differently in each case at the market and pursue also different investment strategies.

The partitioning takes place in:

  • Private investor (among other things free investors, Trader)
  • Institutional investors (ith D. R. Large-scale enterprise such as banks, insurance, investment trusts, public hand)

While usually a private investor of small sums puts on, institutional investors up to several billions can invest.

Funds can be e.g. put on into securities (loans, shares, funds), in real estates or precious metal private investors can in banks a deposit of securities open and over stock exchanges with securities act.
