The jet lots chamomile (Matricaria discoidea) originally originates from the northeast Asia and is meanwhile for approximately 1850 in Germany and Austria completely in-patriated.
Their name it owes to the absence of the white tongue blooms.
Contrary to the genuine chamomile the radiateless chamomile does not possess white tongue blooms. Their tube blooms are yellowish green. It can reach a height of approximately 5 cm to 40 cm.
The bloom time is from June to Septembers (rare also in October).
Exactly the same as the genuine chamomile also the radiateless chamomile contains a multiplicity at ethereal oils. Thus it possesses a heilsame effect likewise.
The plant is nearly kosmopolitisch represented. One finds it particularly close in dry and sandigen places over the soil. For instance at Ruderalstellen, wasteland and dry debris places. It does not grow over a height of 1000 M.
