Jim McDermott (* 28 December 1936 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American psychiatrist and politician (democrat).

Since 1988 it sits in the house of representatives. He is to be seen in Michael of moorland film Fahrenheit 9/11. In him it describes, how it succeeded to the government Bush to use the fear of the Americans after 11 September.
