Job Enlargement is an aspect of the work structuring. A coworker, who was limited to an activity so far, accomplishes now several different activities on the same requirement level. One speaks therefore also of a measure of the horizontal restructuring, contrary to a vertical restructuring (see job Enrichment). A goal job of the Enlargements is it to avoid psychological like physical monotonousness. For example by a change from sitting and standing activity.
