Johann Friedrich Hermann Albers (* 19 November 1805 in Dorsten " 11. May 1867 in Bonn) was a German physician and pathologist.
Johann Friedrich Hermann Albers studied wet, habilitierte starting from 1823 in Bonn, worked starting from 1827 as an auxiliary physician in the medical hospital 1829 as a lecturer and became 1831 professor, when which he read over pathology, pharmaceutics, pathological anatomy and hospital.
Already very early on the area of the soul medicine led, he was united, also practically active on the same, with wet ones and justified to Bonn his own mental hospital for mind and nerve patient. In the year 1856 he became a director of the pharmakologischen cabinet of the university in Bonn.
Albers published a considerable number of writings, particularly in the area of the pathology, the soul medicine and pathological anatomy, and supplied an Atlas of pathological anatomy (Bonn 1832-62, 287 boards with text).
