John Caius (* 6 November 1510 in Norwich; " 29 July 1573 in London) was an English yard physician, who again-created the Gonville and Caius college in Cambridge with a donation.
Caius studied until 1533 in Cambridge, then he visited Italy. It studied in Padua, then it visited 1543 some regions of Italy, Germany and France and returned to England. Since 1547 it practiced as a physician in London and treated the queen Maria I. and the queen Elizabeth I. in the year 1557 among other things donated it 1,834 Pound of Sterling, in order the renewed establishment of Gonville resounds to make possible. There it informed since 1558.
