Joseph Leonard Goldstein (* 18 April 1940 in Sumter, South Carolina, the USA) is an US-American Genetiker.

it received 1985 together with Michael Stuart Brown the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine "“for its discovery concerning the determination of the Cholesterin conversion"”.
