Julius Axelrod (* 30. May 1912 in New York town center; "† 29 December 2004 in Rockville, Maryland) was an US-American physician and neuro chemist.

Axelrod buildup in conditions as a son of Jewish immigrants from Poland in the New Yorker East Side. Its scientific career began it 1933 as an unpaid laboratory assistant, after it had made its biology Bachelor to New Yorker colleges.
