Karl Fellinger (* 19. June 1904 in Linz; "† 8 November 2000 in Vienna) was the Doyen of the clinical medicine of Austria.

The internalist Fellinger was starting from 1945 a university professor in Vienna and president of the highest medical advice.

Fellinger was one of the internationally most outstanding physicians in 20. Century. The Saudi Arabian king Abd aluminium-Aziz ibn Saud, Schah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Afghan king Zahir Schah, king Hassan II. of Morocco, the president of Pakistan Zia ul Haq, the Patriarch Athenagoras I. of Konstantinopel and president of Sierra Leone, Siaka of Stevens, belonged to his patients.

Karl Fellinger of the TV serial humans"” arranged by him for the ORF owed a majority of his admittingness in the broad public, in which he arranged medical knowledge for the public from 1977 to 1979 in exciting way.
