The Kent bundle is an accessory connection in different places between atrium and - chamber with a higher excitation transmission rate than the AV-knot. It can cause a premature excitation of parts of the chamber musculature, which can lead to characteristic electrocardiogram changes (the Wolff Parkinson White syndrome).
