It examined the genes of the fruit fly Drosophila more melanogaster and taught in Madison (Wisconsin) at the University OF Wisconsin. it described 1960 for the first time late also after him designated syndrome than consequence of a Trisomie of the human Chromosoms 13 or of parts of it.
