By level of employment one understands the numerical relationship from work-active to unemployed persons within a society.

High level of employment as a goal of the economic policy

A high level of employment is

  • a part stability and growth law from the year 1967
  • is a "“corner"” of the uneasy square

The goal of the high level of employment justifies itself

  • in personal aspects (psychological and personal disadvantages by unemployment),
  • in political aspects (level of employment is success indicator of an economic policy),
  • in economic aspects (high costs of unemployment, loss at tax receipts etc.)
  • as well as in social aspects (indirect effects on the society);
  • in addition, by injury of socio-political goals like "“liberty clearance of the particular"”, "“social justice"”, "“social peace"”, "“social security"” and "“promotion of the prosperity"”).
