Ludwig von Estorff (* 25 December 1859 in Hanover; " 5 October 1943 in Uelzen) was a general of the infantry in the German empire. From Estorff was from 1907 to 1911 commanders of the colonial force in German southwest Africa.
From Estorff the Selekta of the cadet house in Berlin visited and began 1878 its officer career in the 1. Thuringian infantry regiment No. 81. From 1894 to 1911 it served in the German colonial forces in Africa. After its return to Germany he was division commander in the First World War. Briefly before end of war he was commander of the 8. Army and the German troops in the Baltic. From 1919 to 1920 it befehligte the realm military's group command 3. It left the realm resistance as a lieutenant general after entangling into the cut Putsch. Low-religiously it was brought to June in close connection with Friedrich of Bodelschwingh, and placed themselves against the national socialists close the standing grouping "German Christians". It died on 5 October 1943 in Uelzen.
