Rank

The rank main private first class can be lent to a soldier of the German Federal Armed Forces after service of twelve month with the German Federal Armed Forces ("§ 9,1 soldier career regulation (SLV)) if it with the rank contactor was adjusted. Beyond that possibly a transport is to the Hauptgefreiten of the reserve (HptGefr d.R.) with effect to the first day possible after separating from the service.

• Female soldiers with this rank lead the additive (w). The designation Hauptgefreite is wrong.
• The rank main private first class does not have to be gone through. It can be jumped over by the attitude with a higher rank. Theoretically the SLV permits also a jumping over of the rank in the regular transport sequence, practically has this however as well as no relevance.
• Up to the change of the SLV one, under certain conditions, could when soldier to time also directly as main private first classes are adjusted. This applied above all if the vocational training (final professional training) resembled the military use.
• The NCO candidates carry the rank additive UA (at the navy mA), the sergeant candidates COMPANIES (at the navy BA) and the officer candidates OAU.
