The association was created on 23 October 1993. He pursues the purpose to promote the research of economics and society systems and the dialogue between scientists from different countries with different economic systems.

For this research projects and scientific meetings are accomplished, to which particularly also foreign scientists are invited. The association publishes the research results and makes translations into other languages.

Also korporative members belong to the association beside natural persons.

In co-operation with the research centre for the comparison of economical steering systems at the Philipps university Marburg publishes the Marburger society for order questions of the economy the "“work reports to the system comparison"”.
