The means of transport advertisement is a special form of the external advertisement, with which the advertisement is attached at means of transport. Furthest common is here mounting at public suburban traffic means, in particular buses, streetcars or taxis.

Also different motor vehicles are used gladly than advertising media. Examples of it are advertisement on superstructures or tarpaulins of truck and self-advertisement on the body of firm vehicles.

Operators of balloons often finance their vehicle to large parts by incomes from advertising. Occasionally even the form of the applied product is given to the whole vehicle.

Other means of transport have a clearly smaller value.

Target group with this advertising form are not the passengers, but the Passanten on the road or in other vehicles.

While originally the sides of the body under the windows one marked predominantly, today the trend goes rather to larger, rectangular surfaces, which is stuck by means of special transparent foil also over the windows.

Also the rear side from penalties is likes, since this from afterwards driving cars is usually longer regarded. With the complete advertisement even the whole vehicle is painted and marked, so that it is particularly noticeable.
