The interaction theory of the economic policy can be added to the theories of the new political economics. It is part of the political economy and by Professor Hans Rudolph Peter at the beginning of the 1970er years was justified.
"Meso" means "means". A goal of the theory is the economic explanation of group behavior on middle aggregation level between political decision makers and groups of interests. The purely micro-economic analysis of the individual and the purely macro-economic view on whole group structures are criticized as insufficient. In particular the acceptance of the Methodologi individualism - rational and individual behavior of the participants - are felt as to strong restrictions. Irrational behavior is included as such into the theory formation.
The understands itself as interdisciplinary and takes beside beginnings of the sociology and political science loans in beginnings of the Deregulierungstheorie, the economic structure theory and the micro-economically oriented new one political economics.
