Moritz Heinrich Rome mountain (* 11 November 1795 in Meiningen; "† 16. /17. June 1873 in Berlin) was a German neurologist.

It developed the Rome mountain test designated after him. Furthermore the Obturatorius Neuralgie also Howship Romberg syndrome is designated after it and the English surgeon John Howship (1781-1841).
