Moritz Mebel (* 23 February 1923 in Erfurt) is a German Urologe and researcher in the range kidney Transplantation.

Life

Still during its school time at the elementary school in Erfurt, where it emigrierte as a son of a Jewish family buildup, Moritz Mebel 1932 with its nut/mother and its sister to Moscow. After its return to the GDR 1958 he worked first as a scientific assistant on the surgical hospital of the Humboldt university to Berlin and since 1960 as an upper physician of the Urologi department of the urban hoof land hospital. In November 1963 Moritz Mebel with the topic "“bypass of total ureter defects with a contribution habilitierte over a new operation method"”. Apart from its activity as Chefarzt of the Urologi hospital and health center of the urban hospital Berlin Friedrichshain he was since 1966 also a professor with training order to the 1967 succeeded to it together with professors Harald Dutz and Otto Prokop the first successful Nierentransplantation in the GDR.
