By a morphologic monopoly one understands a monopoly, which is at any time open to attack.

If one assumes the prospect lets develop on a market gap a monopoly and an occasional monopolistic position here the incentive is to fill the market gap then monopolies provide by filling the niche for technical progress and new products. Because of the unfavorable effects of the monopoly quantity and the Monopolpreises for the Nachfrager in the long term however competition is desirable for it. This competition however will automatically develop like, because also different offerers will want to profit from the market gap.

A morphologic monopoly is desirable therefore for short time, since it gives new products to the consumer. But by competition the prices for it will only sink.
