The Musculus adductor hallucis (lat.: Grosszehenadduktor) is one skeleton muscles on the sole. It divides itself into two parts:
Caput transversum:
Caput obliquum:
Both muscle parts set at the lateral Sesambein of the cap of the large toe basic joint and at the basis of the basic member of the large toe.
The muscle adduziert the large toe, i.e. it consults it to the second toe. Beyond that the muscle is involved also in the diffraction.
