The Musculus extensor carpi ulnar nerve (lat.: ulnarer Handstrecker) is one the superficial Strecker of the lower arm. It possesses two muscle heads a Caput humerale (upper arm head) and a Caput ulnare (Ellenkopf).
The Musculus extensor carpi ulnar nerve is responsible to the hand for aspect ratio and Adduktion (bend the hand toward small fingers) in the wrist.
With the domestic animals the muscle works as Beuger of the front foot root joint, however nevertheless from compare-anatomical view as "Extensor" is already designated.
