Professor h.c. Dr. med. Nossrat Peseschkian (* 18. June 1933 in Kaschan, Iran) be specialist for neurology, psychiatry and Psychotherapeutische medicine and founder a new therapeutic direction the positive Psychotherapie. Since 1954 it lives in Germany. He is the founder and director/conductor of many years of the Wiesbadener academy for Psychotherapie (WIAP), one of the largest nationally recognized out and institutes for training further for Psychotherapie in Germany.

Peseschkian works much with alcoholics and humor as well as Bibliotherapie. Its activity covers seminars in over 60 states with establishment of centers for positives and Transkulturelle Psychotherapie as well as the publication of over 20 books. He is besides the founder of the international academy for positives and Transkulturelle Psychotherapie - Peseschkian donation.

In December 2005 it received the Order of Merit to gang. It lives in Wiesbaden
