The oath of allegiance is oath, which officials have to swear. For federal officials this is regulated in "§ 58 BBG.

The oath of allegiance reads: "“I swear to fulfill the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany and all in the Federal Republic to valid laws to true and my official duties conscientiously so truely me God help."”

The oath can be sworn also without the religious asseveration. ("§ 58 exp. 2 BBG)
