Office mould is a recent word creation 19. Century.

The word component of "“mould"” has nothing with verschimmelten documents, white horses or mounted messengers together, but is from a sample decision common in the Austrian monarchy, which was called "“Simile"” (of lat. simile = similarly), derived. With the help of this standard form similarly reading requests could be settled schematically and more briskly.

The term becomes critically related for an oversize at bureaucracy.
