Old person the city hall in the Bratislavaer old part of town is one of the oldest buildings of the Stadt.Es built from stone has a color-gladly arranged clay tile roofing and is an originally gothical building from that 14. Century (1370 for the first time mention). It lies directly at the main place and before it stands the Maximilians or Roland well, the oldest well of the city of 1572. In the inner court of the city hall is a cannon ball, which is to have been shot allegedly by Napoleons' troops there.

That originally as house of the "“judge Jakob"” established house served starting from 1434, after it had been acquired of the city in two stages 1388-1421, as city hall and accommodates today the urban museum.
