Its large front Panoramascheibe was remarkable. It should become the most successful captain of all times. For the first time one took with OPELs now from the custom distance to retouch the models completely after American model each year and proved model Konstanz. The P2 was a last captain with independent body form, at the end of November 1963 ran out its production. It achieved the high sales figure of nearly 146,000 copies.
