The OPEL record C is a middle class vehicle the Adam OPEL AG from the row OPEL record.
It replaces not times 1 year built "intermediate model" OPEL record B to 1966 that and offers a completely new body. The concept development record of C started already 1963 - Hans Mersheimer, which was to 1967 technical manager the Adam OPEL AG, gave the march line. The production of its successor OPEL record D started already starting from December 1971. The OPEL record C was likewise built and driven out in other countries partially also with other model designations. Thus in South Africa, Belgium and Switzerland the Ranger A, in Brazil and Uruguay of the Chevrolet Opala (or also Comodoro) were produced, as well as in Mexico of the "OPELs Olympico". The Chevrolet Opala came in Brazil to center of the 1990er-Jahre off the line. It differs outwardly from the OPEL record C by a changed front and Heckpartie.
