Oskar Troplowitz (* 1863 in Gleiwitz, Upper Silesia; "† 27 April 1918 in Hamburg) was a German Pharmakologe and entrepreneur.

it pulled 1870 with its parents from Gleiwitz to Breslau. There it visited High School and studied pharmacy. it moved to 1890 to Hamburg, where it bought the small pharmaceutical factory of Paul Carl Beiersdorf Co. The enterprise is today still active as Beiersdorf Co. AG world-wide. 1901 it developed the adhesive federation there, for which it created the term Leukoplast. It brought the first fat and humidity cream of the world to at the end of of 1911 on the market - Nivea cream. Still in the year 1896 developed the so-called Beiersdorf Co. india rubber adhesive film, which conquered the market however only around 1936 under the name Tesa film. Oskar Troplowitz deceased on 27 April 1918 at a brain impact.
