Philosophy & Economics (P&E) is an interdisciplinary, konsekutiver course of studies at the University of Bayreuth. It was introduced in the year 2000 by the philosophy professor Dr. Rainer Hegselmann and the national economy professor Dr. Bernhard Herz. Both a Bachelor and a master course of studies exist. Both courses of studies were already accredited. The study knows with that acquisition of of the academic degree of a Bachelor OF kind (B.A.) or a master OF kind (M.A.) to be locked.

Curriculum

The goal of the course of studies is the training of graduates, who are able, to concern difficult decision problems with analytic fundamentalness. In addition it connects the fan philosophy and economics.

Promotion association

The promotion association Philosophy & Economics registered association was created together in the summer 2004 by students, graduates and lecturers of the course of studies Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth. A non-profit goal is it to support the course of studies Philosophy & Economics at the University of Bayreuth and its studying idealistically and materially a network from studying, graduate, the science and in particular practice to establish as well as the dialogue and co-operation between science to strengthen practice and society to philosophical-economic topics.

Natives of Bayreuth dialogues and Native of Bayreuth model price

The Natives of Bayreuth dialogues bring decision makers from politics, economics and society in a symposium to a table and aim pluralistisch at answers to future-crucial questions the time. With in October 2005 for the first time assigned "“Native of Bayreuth the model price"” the economiceconomics protruding drugstore entrepreneur Werner was distinguished during the IITH Natives of Bayreuth dialogues.
