The outermost form of the place dismantling is the locking of an enterprise. Thus for instance the dairy Mueller milk for the fact was criticized that it shifted its production eastward and gave up but whole locations.

As positive counter example frequently the company Trigema is stated, whose owner explains Wolfgang Grupp in interviews that there were no dismissals from lack of work in its enterprise for over 35 years.
