Plastic interface for Collaborative Technology Initiatives through video exploration (PICTIVE) is to be integrated a consistently easy-weighty software development method around partizipative software development into a project. The most important characteristics are the use of simple, intuitive a techniques as possible and a strong focusing on the Design crude user interface.
PICTIVE was developed of M.J. Muller at the beginning of the 1990er years as counter project to the very much-strongly structured partizipativenEntwicklungsmethoden originating from the Scandinavian area. The participation is called in by PICTIVE in first line by the participation of the users in the Design. This participation is to be revalued thereby by the active and regulation-giving participation of the user during the development process.
Completely in the sense of its main guidelines there is a simple, if necessary repeatable process step: the PICTIVE meeting, which consists of the following parts:
It participates important that all Design suggestions take place not on the computer but with more intuitive everyday life tools such as pin and paper. The solution is to already cover the complete window layout. For the last phase of the PICTIVE meeting also a Videoaufzeichnung of the run can take place, in order to mark with a later implementation the Sukzession of contents for developers not taken part in PICTIVE.
