on the one hand as commanders of one militarily or military-similarly arranged group of employments with the designation course so e.g.

• likewise exist with units of the disaster control (e.g. GERMAN RED CROSS, THW, DLRG, MHD); see platoon leader (disaster control)

on the other hand as a responsible person in (railway) a course; see platoon leader (course).
