The pluses X Award will assign on initiative of the marketing agency media society since 2004 to products of all Consumer electronics self-service realms. German technology enterprises and world companies belong to the excellent manufacturers. The price will assign for special achievements in the categories innovation, Design, control comfort and/or ecology.

Different specialized trade and public magazines of the technology sector as well as ZDF/3sat support the honor as official partners. Electronics partner, European group of groups for TV, HiFi, Telecom, PC/Multimedia and Electro, is likewise partner of the competition.

The jury, consisting of 18 specialized journalist (inn) EN and Consumer Electronics expert, finds over the assignment of the "“pluses X-seals"”. Anfolgend are distinguished the appropriate products in the context of the annual award of the prize "„plus X Award Night "“in Duesseldorf. On the international radio exhibition 2005 in Berlin the winner products were issued for the first time together.

Media society networks initiated the pluses X Award, in order to set an indication against "„the Geiz mentality "“. Goal thought of the Awards is the acknowledgment and proclamation of high-quality mark quality as well as the motivation of the technology manufacturers to more innovation, Design, control comfort and ecological reason.
