The Pok Choi (Brassica campestris ssp. chinensis), also, or (Chinese) mustard Kohl called Paksoi Pak Choi, is a salad plant and a vegetable plant from the family of the cross bloom plants (Brassicaceae).
Pok Choi is predominantly used as vegetable in the southasiatic kitchen and in the USA. In Germany Pok Choi is available in the fine food or Asialaden as Exot. It can be begun in courts instead of Mangold or spinach. In particular "the babies Pok Choi "(see illustration) approximates these from the cook characteristics much. The taste reminded rather of China Kohl, is however somewhat finer. Cultivation areas are Thailand and in Europe the Netherlands. Since Pok Choi much humidity contains should it be as freshly as possible processed.
