A populated area is after the building use regulation a construction site of which living serves. Here one differentiates further:

  • general populated area - a construction site, which predominantly serves living.
  • special populated area - a construction site, which predominantly serves living, in which in addition, other uses received may be developed further and, which are typical for the populated area.
  • pure populated area - a construction site, which serves only living.

Which kinds are permitted to the structural use in a general and special populated area, the building use regulation regulates.
