Product responsibility designates the responsibility, which meets the manufacturer or the dealer of a product regarding this product in the completely general sense. Product responsibility is primarily a political term, only in second line also legal.

In the political connection mostly the speech is from product responsibility if products have errors, which show up only with the use and thus damage angerichten.
