When one designates picture-giving procedures the whole of the machine procedures, with which for example medical findings or physical and chemical phenomena are visualized.
Picture-giving procedures are used today in almost all scientific disciplines and used for example in various fields of activity of the medicine for the representation and diagnosis of pathological see radiology.
Systematically the picture-giving procedures for the calculated pictures as well as for the alternative sectional view procedures count.
Differentiation ranges
It is common to all picture-giving procedures that measurements of a physical effect outgoing from an object are converted into a picture. Partially this effect is caused by a sounding, approximately with ultrasonic, X-ray or radioisotopes. In the following different picture-giving procedures are arranged according to the kind of the measured effect.
Infrared radiation
- Thermografie
- Close infrared spectrophotometry
Light
X-ray
- Radiography
- Projection radiography
- (Fluoroskopie)
- Roentgen Tomografie
- Computertomografie (CT)
- Mehrschicht Computertomografie
Radioactivity
- Positron emission tomography (PET)
- Single photon emission Computed Tomography (SPECT)
- Szintigrafie
Sound, ultrasonic
- Sonografie (ultrasonic investigation)
- Ultraschallkardiographie (Echocardiography)
- Color Dopplersonografie
- Sonar
Nuclear spin resonance (NMR, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance)
- Magnetresonanztomografie (MRI, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and/or Kernspintomografie)
- Functional Magnetresonanztomografie (fMRT)
- Blood Oxygen level Dependency (BOLD)
- Diffusion-weighted picture giving
Time
In addition, the time takes a certain privileged position under the specified physical sizes, can or two axles of the picture be represented and with other sizes combined
- Scanner
- Echolot e.g.: to the representation of over the running time of waves
- Target line photo with Radrennen (the picture actually only one line shows in the process of the time)
- Oscilloscopes
- Goal photo
Other one
- Positron emission tomography
- Magnetoenzephalographie (MEG)
- Electrical impedance Tomografie
- Radar
