radio belge de la fran§aise (RTBF; dt. radio and television of the French community of Belgium) is the public, be entitled-financed broadcast for the frankophone population of Belgium.

The institute radiates the five radio stations "„La "“, "“, "„Musiq' 3 "“, "„Classic 21 "“and "„pure FM "“and the two national Fernsehstationen "„La Une "“, "„La Deux "“, as well as the satellite program "„RTBF SOWS "“.

In addition RTBF with other broadcasting corporations is involved in the international transmitter TV5.

Until 1960 the transmitter was called INR (Institut national de Radiodiffusion), afterwards to 1970 RTB.

The broadcasting corporation for the part of Belgium is called Vlaamse radio EN Televisieomroep (VRT), the broadcast (BRF), Belgian for the German-language community.
