Random route is a procedure, in which goal persons are selected for questioning.

The selection of the asked ones is subject to a coincidence procedure, which covers several steps. Committing random: The interviewer gets a street name and a house number from the Sampling POINT as coincidental starting point given. There each x-width unit household is noted. In the next step the household selection takes place. From the resulting household list Institut selects household by coincidence procedure everyone y-ten out.
