A restaurant concession (old: Jug justice) is needed, in order to open a restaurant.

The following documents are necessary during the filing of an application:

• police certificate of good conduct kind of voucher "“0"”, of requesting with the citizen office
• Information from the trade central register kind of voucher "“9"”, of requesting with the office for trade
• Lease over the restaurant areas or in use of the own premises extract from the land register
• Proof of the instruction after "§ 4 exp. 1 No. 4 GastG (registration with the IHK)
• Certificate of non-objection of the tax office
• With new direction, change or extension a sketch plan with indication of measure

The fee for a restaurant concession amounts to maximally approx. 5,000 "€ and consists of a basic amount and an amount of surface. In addition still come depending upon mode of operation and situation of the restaurant.
