Richard cook (* 1882 in Frankfurt/Main, "† 1949 in Essentuki, Caucasus, USSR) was a Jewish physician and medicine theoretician.

1910 to 1911 were a cook in Heidelberg unsalaried employee assistant of the physician Ludolf of Krehl. Later it than internalist in Frankfurt/Main practiced, where it received 1917 a training order for history of the medicine at the university. 1920 he became private lecturer, two years late professor in history of the medicine. At the creation of an medicine-historical institute at the Frankfurt university 1927 it was considerably involved.

In 1920 created free ones the Jewish training house in Frankfurt/Main it cooperated as a lecturer.

1935 were closed Institut for the history of the medicine on Beteiben of the national socialists. One year later fled Richard cook from Germany. From 1943 to 1949 it lived in the Soviet Union, where it also died.
