Requirement management (TO) is an important task of management for the efficient and error-poor development of complex systems.

The goal of the Anforderungsmanagments is it to identify and dissolve in projects the requirements to the product and its components to managen and inconsistencies both between the requirements among themselves and between the product requirements, the project plans and the work products.

Requirement management belongs to the elementary processes in the software and system ripe degree models CMMI and SPICE/ISO 15504 as well as in the standard ISO 12207. For software requirement management software requirement Specification is synonymous.

TO is a substantial component of quality management.
