History

The Siemens arena built of the litauischen energy company Rubicon Group (president Andrius Janukonis). The name resounds from the German company Siemens received (for advertisement purposes).

The festive opening took place on 30 October 2004.

Function

In addition, the arena is the new play place for the basketball association BC Lietuvos Rytas.Sie is other meetings as for example concerts, shows and meetings to serve.
