Siemens Schuckert was the name of an electric motor work in the Wassiljewski island district in sank Petersburg (later in "“S.M. Kirow"” renamed), which was created in the year 1853.

In January 1917 1,970 workers worked in the work. In the work there was an organization of the SDAPR with 120 members (conditions: September 1917), which was led by K. Samzow. In March 1917 departments of the Arbeitermiliz, those developed from S.W in the work. Jermakow as commanders were led. These were reshuffled in a number of 100 men in October 1917 to a group of the red guard.

1917 W.W lead the departments of the red guard in October. Tschekmarjow. The Rotgardisten participated in the occupation Warsaw station, the Stadtduma and in the storm on the winter palace. They protected the southwest entrances after Petrograd against the troops.

Later they fought at the village Alexandrowskoje south of Pulkowo and hole China with striking down the rebellion of Kerenski Krasnow. After the October Revolution the party members of the work took part in the structure of the structures of the new government, particularly at the People's Commissariat for foreign affairs.
