Siteco is a prominent enterprise in the lighting system with seat in Traunreut. It belonged up to the year 1997 to the company Siemens AG (Siemens lighting system). World-wide the enterprise has about 1,500 coworkers.

Siteco was created 1949 as domestic appliance and light work of the Siemens GmbH with head office in Traunreut. 2002 were taken over the enterprise by JP Morgan.
