The SNCASE (abbreviation for: national one de Constructions you Sud Est) was a French airplane manufacturer. Also the designation Sud Est was used.

The SNCASE was created 1936 as national aircraft manufacturers. In him the manufacturers Olivier, Potez, CAMS, Romano and the Proven§ale de Construction (SPCA) came up. First one was concerned with the production of rigid wing airplanes, partially under license.

After the Second World War one began with the production of helicopters, which ran successfully with the development of the Alouette II extraordinarily. Also the first French jet aircraft, which became Caravelle, developed of the SNCASE.

1957 became the SNCASE a component of the Sud aviation.
